Having a blast!

Well, it's been a while since I last posted. With good reason of course!! My baby girl is 2 weeks old today. Time really flies!
I'm wide awake today since our little princess managed to let her mommy get 4 hours of sleep in a row!! And then continued with another 3 hours. Let me tell you - that makes a huge difference. I still stare at her in amazement, our little miracle. My emotions were off the wall last week and even a little on the weekend, but they seem to be calming down, which I am very happy about. I still want to cry at every little thing but at least I'm not going into hysterics at my hubby. I had my hubby with me for 2 weeks and now I am alone with her. It's totally different now. By the time my hubby comes home and we have supper, he's not far off from bed. He does spend some time with her before he goes to bed but I'm sure he wishes he had more time. He is working all week this week and then Monday and Tuesday of next week and then he will be off until Jan 5th. It will be great to have him home again.
Christmas is a whole other story. I was lucky enough to have decorated on the Monday I was admitted to the hospital, December 1st. So the only things left is to buy a Christmas tree (and soon!!) and of course wrap the gifts we have bought. DH and I haven't even bought for eachother yet. We're cutting it pretty close but with good reason. We have bought a few little things for our DD but there is still more that I would like to buy.
Time definitely flies! I won't even be able to send out Christmas cards this year...I think it's the first time in quite a few years that I won't be sending them out. I think I will try to send out some cards with DD's pic in the New Year. I guess we will see.
